Why do I want to be a Nurse?
I would like to be a nurse for different reasons. First, because I do not look at myself as a selfish person and nursing is not a selfish career. I enjoy the fact that I can help people when they need it most or cannot help themselves. Also, you can go so far with a nursing degree and there are an unlimited number of possibilities of what you can do with a nursing career. You can work just about anywhere, you can work with any age group you want, you can work in a specialized field (surgery, OB, pediatrics, adults, gerontology, anesthesia, etc). There is also a high demand for nurses.
